Montreal’s Ritz Carlton – a five-star establishment
The rejuvenation of this 100-year-old building was a delicate undertaking and Beaubois was honored to be a part of the project. Montreal’s Ritz Carlton was closed for almost four years while the building was entirely refurbished and a new wing was added to accommodate 45 luxury residential units.
The Beaubois team provided architectural woodwork for every area of the 97-room hotel and the new residences including the Royal Suite with three bathrooms and an elegant bar. The team also created moldings, luggage racks and vanities. The residences have California-style shutters and moldings, and the residential wing reception desk blends harmoniously with wall paneling and columns with wood finishes, laid out in a diamond pattern.
Beaubois crafted integrated furniture and wall paneling for the business center, the Blue Room and conference rooms. And lastly, the aquatic center reception desk was elegantly created using wood and glass, while the ceiling was covered with a blend of tropical teak planks for a stunning effect.
Beaubois was proud to be such an integral part of the rejuvenation of Montreal’s Ritz Carlton, which has already achieved a prestigious five-star rating.
