Job purpose :
Plan and coordinate the installation of the project based in Florida and/or in Texas and manage its execution while adhering to quality standards and allocated budgets. He/she supervises installation personnel or subcontractors.
Tasks and responsibilities :
- Plan and control the installation according to the scheduling of “site” deliverables.
- Adhere to and control the installation budget.
- Respect and enforce the project-specific health and safety plan (HSP).
- Supervise the installation team.
- Gather and update information on site progress and report it to the project team or in the systems.
- Control on-site measurements.
- Maintain optimal communication with stakeholders.
- Actively participate in the design optimization from an installation perspective.
Other specific tasks :
Workshop Drawings and Production:
- Take measurements on site and monitor the production schedule.
- Implement corrective measures in case of deviations.
Manufacturing:
- Plan the installation and delivery schedule.
- Track and manage discrepancies.
- Coordinate on-site activities to meet installation deadlines.
- Manage the installation budget.
- Perform moisture rate tests.
- Review and update the health and safety plan (HSP).
Installation:
- Review the installation schedule.
- Prepare the delivery schedule.
- Manage discrepancies and ensure follow-up.
- Coordinate on-site activities to meet installation deadlines.
- Organize a kickoff meeting with subcontractors.
- Control and monitor the installation budget.
- Implement the HSP and track HSP statistics on-site.
- Perform moisture rate tests.
Job requirements :
- Diploma in Carpentry, Architecture, or Construction Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in woodworking, construction, or carpentry.
- Mastery of health and safety rules and standards.
- Expertise in reading architectural plans and mastery of specifications and plans.
- Proficiency in using software such as Outlook, Excel, and PlanGrid (an asset).
- Knowledge of metric and imperial systems.
- Excellent planning, organizational skills, and strong results orientation.
- Team spirit and exemplary collaboration.
- Motivating leadership.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage stress effectively.
- Good judgment and excellent priority management.
- Ability to manage conflicts and resolve problems.
- High availability and geographical mobility and a valid passport.
Working conditions :
- Permanent full-time position ;
- Variable schedule with 10 working days et 4 days off.
- Remote position.
