The Chester County Justice Center – an elegant and functional courthouse

The new West Chester Justice Center filled an urgent need for a space dedicated to the county’s judiciary system, but also created a pleasant environment for its users. While designed in an ultra-modern style, the new structure offers a harmonious blend with local architecture and the Greek Renaissance style of the original building.

The Beaubois team played a major part in the construction of this seven-storey (375,000-sq.-ft) building. The project required an investment of almost $80M, and the expansive new facility includes a stunning lobby, impressive courtrooms and space for administrative bodies such as the Sheriff, the Protonotary and the Will Registry. From wall panels and ceiling moldings, to impressive doors, seating benches for withnesses, jury members and the public, and a magnificent staircase, the Beaubois team contributed first-class woodwork to this project.

Our team of experts worked closely with talented architects and a leading contractor who won an award from the Project Management Institute* for its management excellence. Despite tight schedules, everyone worked diligently to finish this project on time and with flawless results.

* The Project Management Institute has more than 260,000 members in over 170 countries, and is the leading membership association for the project management profession.
