Delano Hotel, Miami Beach
The prestigious Delano Hotel is an iconic institution in Miami Beach. This renovation and modernization project aims to reimagine this historic landmark for future generations, while respecting its unique architectural heritage, in order to offer a high-end guest experience in line with contemporary hospitality standards.
ART DECO, REVITALIZED
The firm Studio Mc+G Architecture was retained to carry out the project in collaboration with Elastic Architects and general contractor Suffolk Construction Company. Beaubois was commissioned to renovate the public spaces over 2½ floors, including the reception, restaurant, and bar areas of the 15-story establishment.
The architecture team turned to Beaubois for the design and installation of millwork, wall panels, wood ceilings, built-in furnishings, bars, and decorative finishes, all in keeping with the Art Deco style of the famous hotel. The furnishings and panels were custom designed and manufactured in the factory using high-quality wood veneers and premium finishes to fulfill the design requirements.
The challenges overcome by our seasoned team involved coordinating and managing the logistics of renovating a historic building while complying with architectural constraints and the architects’ vision.
