TCU Amon G. Carter Stadium – East Side Expansion
Completed in 2020, this major renovation and expansion project brought an additional 75,000 square feet to Texas Christian University’s Amon G. Carter football stadium. This new space now includes over 1,000 club seats, 22 luxury suites, 48 loge boxes and two private clubs, as well as outdoor covered balconies.
In the expansive Legends Club, which showcases high ceilings, over 130 televisions, multiple bars, and premium food stations. Beaubois provided a range of millwork and metal features. This includes custom furniture, made with stained oak and integrated leather, a multimedia wall, TV frames, and Forms+Surfaces bronze paneling for columns. Around the bars, textured bronze sheets create a distinctive look, and metal footrests improve visitor comfort. The Beaubois team also provided fabric coverings to conceal integrated speakers, as well as Forms+Surfaces frames for the larger-than-life paintings located throughout the space. Phenolic lockers were manufactured to mask air intake vents, allowing users to store valuables, while providing weatherproof outdoor storage space.
For this project, Beaubois was hired as a supplier, while installation was carried out by the general contractor. This approach required a smooth collaboration between both teams, and consistent support from Beaubois throughout the project.
This is the first significant renovation undertaken in the stadium since 1956 and designs were developed to match the campus’ 1930s Southwestern Art Deco look. The New Amon G. Carter stadium is a sight to behold and will provide an enhanced experience for all visitors.
